More recently, I've been experimenting with Self-care and this has started me on an amazing journey as I explore incorporating my love for art and creativity with the need for physical and emotional well-being. And through sketching, drawing, and coloring in my whimsical style, I am learning to depict some of the wonders of this beautiful place called Alsace. I am reliving a small glimpse of what my grandfather experienced as he painted Alsatian villages and portraits. Returning to live in Alsace in 2011, and being surrounded by its beauty and charm, amazing architecture, nature, and culture, has inspired me to express it through my art. As the years passed, my passion for art flourished and I have now illustrated many children’s books and taught art for kids since 1999. My earliest memories as a child include drawing, especially portraits and flowers. I lived abroad most of my life, soaking up a variety of experiences and adventures around the world, which have enriched my life with culture, ethnicity, languages, and more. Sharing our creativity is a wonderful way to bring joy to others and ourselves. You can then use the techniques to color your own squirrel illustrations.Īnd as a bonus class at the end, we will create a greeting card with one of the squirrel illustrations.Įach of the 9 classes is between 5 to 10 minutes in length. We will pencil sketch, then draw the line art with a felt tip pen, and as a bonus, we will color one of the squirrels and give it some simple shading. I will share tips and tricks as you follow along. In this class, you can accompany me in drawing a cute squirrel in 7 different poses/positions. I love adding cuteness to my works of art, with cuddly creatures, color, and loads of flowers to add a touch of beauty.
